Im Gegenteil: Es muss endlich ein Schlusspunkt gesetzt werden unter die immer mehr ausufernden kontinuierlichen Versuche und Tests, wie sehr und wie emphatisch man sich nach 70 Jahren Hitler wieder annähern darf. Mal versucht man es über Speer (Wernher von Braun lässt man noch aus) mal über das Thema Dresden – ein andermal als angebliche Witzelei im Cannes-Interview. Es ist gut, dass die Festival-Leitung in Cannes kurz entschlossen die Reißleine zieht. Die Verteidigung im SPIEGEL ist mehr als peinlich. Wie wär’s mit einem Neu-Abdruck der Hitler-Tagebücher? Hat beim Stern damals doch auch für Auflage-Steigerungen gesorgt.
