Arab women protesters

With empathy also West Europe is watching the revolt in Tunisia and Egypt, in Bahrain and Yemen. Should we support the efforts to have democracy? Should we have fear, to support religious fundamentalism? Some things are disturbing: At first we were glad, that so many Arab women joined the protesters on the streets. But then I’ve read in the news, that women, demonstrating on Cairo‘s Tahrir Square were beaten by male persons. And that on the “International Women’s Day“! We still can’t see clearly, what’s up there …
