use a responsive theme
by frizztext
Test your site via ami.responsivedesign.is/ – you should chose a theme, which gives a good responsive not only to desktop computers, portable laptops or tablets – but especially also to mobile phones! So I changed my wordpress theme from “pilcrow” (yesterday) to “responsive” (today: now also mobile phones are able to present my blog – please tell me if I’m wrong!)

compare my yesterday’s test with wordpress theme pilcrow: the mobile phone only could grab pics not larger than 150×150 – not my usual 500×500:

P.S.:
what a pity, I do not have a mobile phone with internet capability… – laugh about me enjoying the video below and call me Emma:

Yes, your site works on my iphone 5: the full posts come up whereas on mine (theme 2012) they come up as partials/continue reading….
thank you for feedback!
Anytime!
…I guess you can call me Emma too!!!
it’s much too expensive, that mobile epidemic – I’m glad with my desktop station – enough! you are soothing me Marina / Emma …
I use a “desktop replacement” laptop which is far too big to carry unless I’m going away for a long time. Small, portable, expensive electronics would be far too expensive for me. The only way I finally stopped losing purses was to buy clothes with pockets. I think an iPad wouldn’t last more than a week with me. My mother used to call me the “absent minded professor.” It takes me twenty minutes to leave my apartment because I can’t ever find my keys.
“It takes me twenty minutes to leave my apartment because I can’t ever find my keys…” – likable!
Yes, responsive is a good idea. I only use desktop too.
I tested your site on the desktop, my iPad, and myiPhone. It works! I’ve been thinking of changing themes but I somehow have not gotten around to it. You make me want to explore again! Btw, the ad was hilarious!
thank you for your feedback – important, because I do not have an iPad, tablet or iPhone …
You’re better off than I am. I’m hooked on these devices.
The Times, they are a changin’. Your new Theme looks good and you are to be commended for keeping up with changing technology.
you have much more courage than me, Allan!

On a foggy day like this one you can’t more than 50 feet in any direction so, in effect, you could just as well be working at ground-level. It is the crisp, clear days when you can see forever that make this job the gem that it is.
Thanks for sharing this site. I stopped by to test out mine, but some don’t show well on all devices. I may have to think about changing them.
Thank you, Frizz! Happy weekend
Call me Emma too.
I laughed so much when I saw the video that Mr F came over to see what was so funny and he nearly fell over he laughed so much. Thanks.

Just saw this post by Frizztext. A great resource for bloggers and web developers alike.
HAHAHAHA …. i think the video is hilarious. It is exactly how I feel. I am still reading books that have pages. I dislike cell phones and have one for emergency’s only. We have become too technoligically dependant. The anti-chirt some people call all this machinery. I wonder about that but we are becoming more dependant everyday.
I like your new theme. I is easy on the eyes and very wasy to navigate.
we are becoming more dependant everyday from technology hipes… – I have my best ideas sitting at my desk, no noise around, no loudspeaker, only cat purring …
Cute video!
I didn’t think I would care for all that mobile technology, but now that I have it, I love it. There are so many cool apps, too. I didn’t even text until a couple months ago, but only to my hubby so far. I’ve had such good luck with Apple products, I have the macbook pro, iPad, iPhone, iPod classic and haven’t had any problems with them, so far. I hope it continues. My PC gave me too many problems.
I still like paper for some things, including a small paper calendar for appointments, and handwritten cards and letters, but when it comes to practicing doodling and drawing, the iPad is less wasteful than paper. I make a lot of mistakes.
Your theme works on all my devices.
