Now I *need* to know if there is anyplace in Canada that does this!

  2. dearrosie says:

Thanks for the links. I’ve seen love locks in Madrid and along the Cinque Terre in Italy and I didn’t know what they meant.

  3. That whole story started a few years ago in Florence, Italy on the Old Bridge and it became such a nuisance that authorities had to forbid it.

  4. I love that intimate street shot.

  5. Jo Bryant says:

    they are everywhere…these locks.
I really love the second image…just how love should look

  6. restlessjo says:

Hard to believe they haven’t done this theme for a challenge before. Love your second photo.

  7. Veronica Roth says:

Aw, that second photo is very sweet. Nicely done. :)

  8. ledrakenoir says:

‘ve walked this path in Cologne many times, a beautiful sight
    - it’s probably banned in Denmark… ‘hahaha’

  9. I really love your second photo. The two people in the foreground are so obviously delighting in each other’s company, and I think the woman behind them is just a little envious.

  10. smkelly8 says:

In China they have love locks too. They’re at the temples.

  11. vatelechuza says:

I love ++++ the innocent shot in street!! I’m not sure , really I don’t like the concept of ‘Love Locks’ ….Love is freedom and not to be ‘locked’ …

  12. Hi Frizz,
I’ve seen the Locks of Love on Ponte Vecchio in Florence–even feature them in a scene of the novel I’m working on–so it was fun to see them in your post. I also really appreciate the photo of the couple.

  13. ohw..the 2nd photo is so romantic

  14. Amy says:

“Love pulls people together…” – and encourages, gives motivation, positive energy, helps to develop creativity, supports our humor …

  20. Zen says:

The lock idea is great, but i am just wondering, what if the couple got separated.. hehe weird thinkin’

  21. That’s quite a lizard on the lock–and the candid shot on the street is beautiful. A great post.

  22. eof737 says:

    Perfect for the challenge… ;-)

  23. seeker says:

A heart warming picture to see couple in sweet surrender. As for the lock, it’s invasive.
