Weekly Photo Challenge: Movement
by frizztext
In my wordpress article “dance-like-no-one-would-see-you” I tried to feature some dancers; I enjoyed mostly the shot, who seemed to be a failure at first sight: too much blur – but it was amusing in a second view: one can imagine how much fun it is to cross very speedy from one side to the other!

the background is much more blurred because I moved the camera following the high-speed dancer …

Stunning! Love that motion blur!
So very appropriate! I’m very glad you had that second view!!!
hi Marina,
about velocity while painting with water colors:
I would like to see your movements while painting –
there is a Picasso video, when he painted on glass: very speedy!
I think I must look like the Flash!!! My teachers all agreed on one thing: “no more than a few seconds for Marina!” …well not for every painting, but I do work better on one breath! I’ll go find that Picasso video now!
for example this (there are more…)
Picasso painting on glass 1949
Speechless!!!
Anything about dance has my vote, and this’s full of movement. Bravo!
Perfect for this week’s theme!
Perfect!
Ideal image for the theme, ft.

Now I KNOW you’re not such an old man, Frizz! This lady is very sensuous and totally alive in her movement in that fabulous costume! Great “movement” challenge entry!
Simply fabulous – vibrant colours and rhythm!
This certainly does covey motion/movement. Very well done!
This is an elegant blur. It captures the dance moment and movement nicely.
Lovely blur!

hi Lynne,
good subtitle:
THE SUBTLE MOVEMENT THAT PRECEDES FLIGHT…
there’s a similar moment just before writing …
What a great moving. It’s energetic.
My daughter’s a dancer…so of course this caught my attention. Very cool!
Capturing the moment… of movement. Very effective and very well done!
I love this photo Frizz. The motion is keenly felt through the blur.
I like the abstract quality of the blurred background.
the background is much more blurred because I moved the camera following the high-speed dancer …
Yes, I could tell. If one looks closely, there is a man dancing in the background, but the blurring makes him just a blurry abstract of color so he doesn’t distract from the focal point. Good job!
Wow, I so like this!
Love this!!
Wow. Fantastic shot.
Wow … Me like Fritz!
