Weekly Photo Challenge: Fleeting Moment

Weekly Photo Challenge: FLEETING MOMENT
U = UMBRELLA (a Goddess, provoking a man to hesitate)
photo for the “weekly photo challenge” community of dailypost / wordpress – picture was shot by FrizzText, click on the image to enter his flickr photo collection…
frizztext: some people put plastic bags over their heads, protecting themselves against the pouring rain, others ran into small shops, this woman left aristocratically with an English-style umbrella the Public Library, 42nd Street, Manhattan…
Joe Wig commented: …She’s the beauty who has to battle the elements. You can feel the wet environment The man’s an afterthought. In fact, you wonder why he’s slowing down since it IS raining.
comment by thorvaala: I suspect she’s a goddess and that has caused the man to hesitate.
comment by theouterpoint: the mirrored strides and turned heads . . .
comment by Isadora (read below): you wonder if, perhaps, the man wants to assist her down the wet steps…
compare: an old BLURB-book, where you can find this NY street-shot too… www.blurb.com/books/60079

I do not wonder at all that the man is slowing down! Rain, or no rain, he shows great wisdom in savoring this moment of viewing that grace with which this lady descends those steps in the rain! Such fleeting moments must be properly stored in the soul.
