Weekly Photo Challenge: CREATE
by frizztext
Weekly Photo Challenge: CREATE – example: artful stairway painting in my hometown Wuppertal, Germany; how to follow in your own hometown this idea by Professor Horst Gläsker? He used a public stairway to write (German) words describing the relationship between human beings: terror + love, prosecution + trust, despair + hope, revenge + kiss – and so on… – read my blog article TOWER OF BABEL at flickrcomments.wordpress.com/2012/04/22/tower-of-babel/

For these rainbow staircase the artist chose the title “SCALA” -
not only a scala of colors, also a scala of feelings in a relationship,
a scala of climax if two fall in love to each other…

This is cool Fritz
Unfortunately, I don’t understand German and would hate to step on a “wrong” step
beste Rosa,
it wouldn’t be easy to roll a Dutch yellow cheese upstairs …

hi Paula,
your feathery neighbour leaving a shit-mess on your balcony, maybe he doesn’t even know what his backside is doing, sorry for that – but on the other hand I adore all animals, who are able to fly; I would like to follow them for a trip through your neighborhood …
greetings by my cat: she would bite into his neck to start some education …

of course Halloween always is a chance to create …
Ooh! I like that! Am so tempted to go and paint the step down the road now! Though there’s not as many of them.
So colorful!
Beautiful picture! I would like to have such colorful stairs with lyrics written on it!
Yes, that is very creative and eye-catching!
Wow, chock-full of creativity!
Very interesting, especially his juxtaposition of words…
Oooo. I like, very much!! Your photos are always exceptional; this one would make a canvas frame sell-out!!
Nice stairs
Love this piece Frizz. A stairway to know ourselves.
Really nice! Great choice! z
It’s like a rainbow.
the artist chose the title SCALA – not only a scala of colors, also a scala of feelings in a relationship, a scala of climax if two fall in love to each other…
A wonderful creation…thanks for sharing.
I remember this photo …amazing! Congratulations, Frizz [re football]!
hello dear Marina in Athens, sorry that your national football team couldn’t win the game vs. Germany – your heroes fought with a very good spirit! compliment!
Thank you for the compliment, Frizz! The German team was very good, they deserved it!
I couldn’t run 3 minutes in their velocity, never 90 …
Not only is this colourful and creative it made me translate some words so thanks for educating me!
hi Gilly,
yes in my Babylon article about the same staircase I’ve collected translations into 25 languages

- sorry, your Nigerian language is not included – could you?

I love the colors …even if I can’t understand the language, those pictures are great!

Thanks for that Frizztext…now I know!

I only took this photo earlier today.
Immediately remembered the challenge when I saw this woman and what she was busy doing,
I will never get tired with steps like that… Wait! How high is that? Bwahahaha
you can see on the photo only a small section of the stairway – the complete stairway uphill is 7 x longer than this chosen fragment …
that is so creative…wonder if I can talk the town in to doing somethin similar…hehehe
such a great idea, colouring the dull stairs creates an artwork!
they are gorgeous, and a beautiful way to convey a serious message
I’ve always loved that staircase… very colorful and creative
