I always dream, I would live there at the Kennebec River, Bath, Maine – from the moment, I’ve found this picture in the flickr pool; the photographer Barry Roy Lubman was so kind, to give permission to me, to paint that too; I tried and gave my very best; now the painting hangs on the wall of my bureau now – and more and more I really do believe, that I am living there.
So if you post in my guest-book, imagine, I would live in that house by the riverside

The yellow house is such a nice and peaceful place
A dream,when one lives in a busy city !!
so I painted that thing, but leaving that image, oil on canvas, walking around in my brain, I start to imagine, how this house would look during winter or autumn, during silent snow-fall or under thunder and heavy rain, in the fog or suffering under the hottest sunshine-period; and what about the changing moods of the water? no surprise: people, living in that house, surely change their minds continuously – so am I (I fear…)
Ich habe gerade die Sommeransicht entdeckt. Die gefällt mir am besten. Aber es stimmt, genau wie wir Menschen Stimmungen wechseln, geht es einem Haus und seiner Umgebung. Leider hat sich wohl kein Mensch voll unter Kontrolle. Und wenn man etwas gerne hat, aktzeptiert man alle Seiten. Im Haus wurde ich übrigens daran erinnert, meine Gitarre noch einmal hervor zu holen

Love your little yellow house on the river…and the painting you did…beautiful.
I had always dreamed of living on the river so be actually living my dream at the moment (in my little white park home on the river Thames) is bliss.
Water is so healing and and very spiritual. I love it!
